There were times in my life when I had several psychosomatic symptoms due to an unfinished business. For years I kept on punishing myself for my inability to let go a certain feelings, let alone forget. Big revelation came at the moment I learned MBTI. It’s when the trainer stated: for people with Judging personality in MBTI, there’s a Joy of Closure. It’s very important to have closure. After being Aware of the fact, I could then accept the flaw, and finally Adapt so it wouldn’t bother me that much anymore. Thus I never punish myself anymore for my inability. Instead, I treat it like welcoming a temporary guest. “Oh hi sadness, welcome to my home. Here, have a cup of tea with me. I have an hour to sit with you. And after an hour sitting with the “guest”, I let it go. Then came back to real life, stronger and more grateful 😇
