This verse slapped me in the face just right after I scolded my firstborn due to her rebellion early this morning.
I took a moment to sit in my zen zone -greenie benzie, a swinging bench in my balcony- and asked for mercy from God.
A moment later my firstborn came to join me, smiled and said: “I’m finish mom” (She just finished taking a bath and put on her clothes)
I hugged her and said sorry for scolding her, and we talked about how we can be so snappy when we’re very sleepy.
Sometimes I wonder how she could be so forgiving while I couldn’t be forgiving that easily to my own self.
