Conversation with M right after she arrived home from school.
“So how was your day?”
“I cried a little”
“Oh. Why?”
“Because the end of the world is this year!” *ngembeng*
“Who said that?”
“The bible”
“I don’t think it’s on the bible”
“It is! On Revelation, last chapter” *ambil alkitab, ubek2 cari surat Wahyu, baca ayat 22 pasal 6-22.
“There’s no specific mention about the year dear, it’s just written there that He will surely come. But nobody knows when. If someone ever told you that s/he knows the exact time, then s/he acts like God and it’s just not right. You don’t have to believe it.”
She nodded and looked so relieved, but can’t help herself to re-read the chapter again and again.
