This is so true

This is so true.

Some people asked me, why am I willing to go back to college again, and why I chose counseling study.

First and foremost, I need the knowledge for self-help, which will eventually affect my children.

Every time my kids praised me, “Thank you mom, you are the best mom ever in the world!”, I cringed.

I believe I’m not the best mom, I don’t even feel I’m a good mom. I did so many bad things as a mom.

So as much as I want to watch them grow, I want them to see that I grow too, so they’ll understand that life is about continuous learning, no matter how young/old we are.

They haven’t even seen the real world yet, so “the world” they know now is all about me and their daddy.

So as much as I am proud of them, I want them to be proud of us too even when they see the real world, and set the bar higher than our previous generation.

And the fact that I am their mom, is forever irreplaceable. Thus, “the best” here should have nothing to do with comparing to other moms. We just have to be better and become the best version of ourself.

That’s all. – View on Path.
