I haven’t been blogging for more than a month, where have I been?
In a little heaven of the world called family, that makes me feel so much blessed.Yes, life’s treating me very well, God is so kind to me. There are lotsa things that makes me more than happy lately, and unfortunately all those happiness could make me forget that I have another world called blog, hehehe…
So what’s up, NuTs? Well I guess now is a good time to share all the good news :)
It’s a miracle for me to beat my phobia: deliver a baby. Yes, I did it successfully. I gave birth to a chubby baby girl on Sunday Oct 29th 2006 at 07.05pm with weight 3.75kg and length 49cm. Don’t ask me the pain; it was the worst I’ve ever felt. Thanks God I have a luvly husband that supports me along the process, and a big family that really care for me. And when I see the baby, I guess it’s all really worth it. Dhe gives the first name Michelle, inspired by many successful persons named Michael. I give the last name Corinthians, from one chapter of the holy bible. So there she is… Michelle Corinthians, our first child.
I don’t remember feeling the baby blue syndrome. Maybe because I am surrounded by many caring people. My mom was there night and day in hospital, taking care of me and the baby. She makes sure that I eat and rest enough. My mother in law has another way to show her attention. The first word that came out from her after I gave birth was : “thank you”. And when I got home, she gives me a set of jewelry made from 32gr gold. She said it’s a thank you gift for giving her the first granddaughter. The baby is taken care very well by me and her dad, with assistance of family, one baby sitter and two housmaids.
About my work, I am in a loooooong holiday now. I took a week annual leave, a week Idul Fitri holiday, and 3 month maternity leave. So I got totally 3,5 month free from work, having fun with family and friends. And guess what? Beside still getting paid monthly, I also got THR and year end bonus. Ain’t that great? Hohoho…
Another good news is we finally got the house! Yes, we officially bought it. The land is 105 sqm and with the second floor, the building is around 200 sqm. The neighborhood is good, a complex near to everywhere. It’s a minute walk to a school, 5-minute walk to the nearest mall, 10-minute drive to the nearest hospital. We decide to move in early of 2007, after the house is cozy & homey enough to live in :)
Ain’t life so beautiful? Sure it is… I feel really blessed!
