Trivial

I just knew “trivial” means “remeh temeh” or “sepele” based on Translation apps in my ipad. I looked for the word intendedly. Just to kill my curiousity.

Anyway..

Sometimes I am upset for trivial things. The things that seem not important enough to complain. But if I dont communicate it, the person wouldn’t know that it’s just not right, and it would happen repeatedly. If that person is not important enough for me, I can just simply ignore it. But if s/he is, I dare myself to tell, or at least show my disappointment.

But why sweat the small stuff? Well every big thing needs small stuff to run well, every machine needs small parts to operate perfectly. If the small stuff deviates and we pretend not knowing it, it’s our fault too when one day it stops running/operating caused by the broken small stuff. See, the small stuff might seem not important but actually it’s crucial.

For example.

I couldn’t find my spouse anywhere around the toilet at the airport, later I found out he left me to take the baggage which is quite far away. I was upset because before I went to the toilet I told him to wait, and before that he also told me to wait for our friend though our friend didn’t ask us to wait. Not to mention that I had to look for him everywhere with my vision problem through my old eye-glasses.

If I didn’t show my disappointment, he wouldn’t know that it’s not right to leave behind the one he should care for more than other. If he could willingly wait for a friend, why couldn’t he wait a few minutes for his spouse? The thing would be different if I didn’t ask him to wait, or if I told him to just go ahead. If I act as if it’s okay, he would think it is okay. And it might happen repeatedly in the future, which is not good and disrespectful.
