Our firstborn, after eating my cooking on dinner last night:
“Mom, I really like your cooking.”
“Oooh… Really?”
“Yes. It tastes sweet, as sweet as you”
“Oooh… thank you”
“And it smells so nice, as nice as you”
“Woww, thank you!”
And our lastborn added:
“And mommy is the funniest and kindest mom ever in the world!”
“Whoaaa… Thank you. You’re so easy to please girls, hehehe…”
When a real conversation sounds too good to be true, I know I need to write it down. Not for pencitraan whatsoever, but for the heartwarming record that I will always remember when I get older (and in case I miss that when the girls enter the rebellious phase of teenager!)
